How does a Sports Crusaders Camp Work?

After a church or community has booked a Sports Crusaders team to come to their location, they promote and prepare for the camp. When the team of college student athletes arrives, they will conduct a quality sports camp, focusing on the fundamentals of their sport and their faith in Jesus Christ.

Do I have to play for my college to qualify to work with Sports Crusaders?

No. You must be able to teach the sport to children. Some of the best coaches never played!

Why Are Sports Crusaders Camps so effective?

Sports Crusaders Camps are so effective because God is so good to us. “Since through God’s mercy that we have this ministry”—2 Corinthians 4:1. God began this ministry as a dream and a promise through the faith of Bobby Shows. We continue this ministry based on faith and prayer, and we share the gospel boldly wherever we go. We try to model Jesus in our ministry, by serving each child and each host church personally and with love. It is Christ’s love which unites us, and His spirit which gives us power.
